Welcome Address
Dear Colleagues,
The organizing committee welcomes you to the CIMT meets SFIT Conference 2007 to be held in Würzburg (Germany) from April 12 to April 14, 2007. After the successful meeting last year in Mainz we have again joined efforts and resources and combined the 5th Annual Meeting of the Association for Immunotherapy of Cancer (CIMT) with the 3rd International Conference “Strategies for Immune Therapy“ (SFIT).
New approaches utilizing the immune system in the fight against cancer and infections hold great promise. Many advanced clinical trials are currently underway and we will certainly hear about the latest developments during this conference. We have tried our best to bring truly outstanding international speakers covering various aspects of immunotherapy to Würzburg. In addition, we will offer again guided poster sessions to provide young talent with the opportunity to present their work and to receive fruitful feedback. We will also harbor the 4th meeting of the “CIMT Monitoring Panel”” on April 14. As last year we are going to videotape the scientific sessions in order to give all CIMT members, attendees as well as colleagues who are not able to join us the opportunity to benefit from our conference.
We are sure that your participation will contribute to making the meeting an exciting event and look forward to having you with us in Würzburg.

Friday 13th April 2007; 8:00 pm
Dinner (participants with invited speakers) at the Prince’s Hall of the Würzburg Residenz. Catering will be provided by Hotel Rebstock, one of the best caterers of Würzburg.
For live music we have been able to engage the international-renowned Anne Kox-Schindelin Ensemble.

The symposium "CIMT meets Strategies for Immune Therapy" in Wuerzburg isaccredited with 12 AIO points of ESMO-MORA category 1 and 3 AIO points of
ESMO-MORA category 2. The Bayerische Ärztekammer will accredit 8 points of Category A per meeting day (24 points in total).
